Introduction
The way stories are presented on the page can vary from poetics to illustrations to prose. And those who absorb stories, have the ability to interpret their meanings in any way they may choose. This unique facet makes the experience of a story universally approachable. And it is this that makes a well-crafted narrative feel personal and intimate to all of us, as individuals. Stories are meant to invoke an emotional response: whether it be the magnitude of a tidal wave or a teardrop, the whole point is to affect the audience.
It was my intention to explore this aspect of narrative storytelling and to develop my own ability to communicate stories, in particular, ones focused on interpersonal relationships varying from romantic pursuits to friendships to family ties. How we interact with others is the very basis of society and is a catalyst for life itself, because without others we are skeletons of ourselves.
